Dr. Sylinda Mumphery is an author, evangelist, international speaker, talk show host, visionary leader, and the founder of Removing The Bandages Ministries and Women’s Movement.
Her life and work are rooted in healing, purpose, and empowering women to walk boldly in who God has called them to be.
Through her personal journey of overcoming profound loss and adversity—including the loss of her home, car, marriage, health challenges, and life-altering trials—Sylinda emerged with an unshakable faith and a powerful message: healing is possible,
and purpose still stands. What once threatened to break her became the foundation of her calling.

Sylinda is the author of Removing the Bandages, a transformational work that encourages women to confront
pain, release hidden wounds, and step fully into emotional, spiritual, and personal freedom. .
As the founder of Removing The Bandages Ministries and Women’s Movement, Sylinda creates safe spaces for women to heal, grow, and rediscover their power. Her mission is to help women remove what has covered their truth, reclaim their identity, and live unapologetically on purpose. She believes that every woman carries divine strength, and with faith, courage, and obedience, healing can become a testimony that changes lives—including her own.

Sylinda has been featured on the cover of E.G.O Magazine, Voyage Atlanta, Strut and Kish Magazine as well as other publications. She's also been recognized for having the top story for the Making News Headline Magazine. She is the recipient of the Women of Worth Award, 2018 Women Empowerment Award, Strut Award, IGMA 2022 Champion Award, an honorary doctorate, and recognized as one of the Top 15 Influential Female Trendsetters and Women Who Are Making History . She has appeared on the WALB News Noon Day Show, Dialogue With Karla, Phil Streetman Show, Atlanta Live, Preach The Word Network and more. ​​​
She mentors, speaks to and motivates young people on a continuous basis through her mentoring program Girls To Pearls. She has attended area schools as a guest speaker, as well as spoken at several youth and women conferences and served as a panelist for A Praying Woman Conference, Woman You Tone The Home, Women Setting The Tone, The Virtuous Woman Conference, Delta Sigma Theta Youth Summit, Diamond University and the keynote speaker for the MLK My Brother's Keeper Award Ceremony. In 2019 she expanded her movement internationally and hosted a workshop in Nicaragua. She also launched the HER-O-LOGY Experience which has brought women together from state to state.
